Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)

Your Statutory Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from certain purchases within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

However, this right does not apply in all circumstances.

Exception for Personalised Products

Under applicable consumer protection legislation, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are clearly personalised.

For the purposes of purchases made from The College Store, this exemption applies only to products that have been personalised with the customer's initials or other personal embroidery requested as part of the order.

Once production of a personalised item has commenced, orders for such products cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded simply because the customer has changed their mind.

Examples of products that are exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal include:

• Clothing embroidered with the customer's initials.
• Products featuring personal embroidery specifically requested by the customer.

Products That Are Not Personalised

Products that do not include customer initials or other personal embroidery are not covered by the personalised-goods exemption solely because they are produced after an order is placed.

For eligible non-personalised products, EU consumers may exercise any statutory withdrawal rights available under applicable law.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights in relation to goods that are:

• Faulty or defective;
• Damaged during delivery;
• Not as described; or
• Incorrectly supplied.
